中国当代杰出民间艺术大师——薛明智专题报道

艺术简介

薛明智，雅号泥人薛，禹州市褚河镇人，民间艺人、“农家艺苑博物馆”创始人。现为中国民间文艺家，民间工艺美术大师、高级民间艺术师、中医师、田园诗人、吴道子国画院雕塑师，2000年他曾获文化部颁发的“世界华人艺术人才”荣誉称号。薛明智自幼喜爱诗、画、塑、医，只有小学文化的他大半生借用务农空闲时间坚持自学。他的雕塑作品取材广泛，独具一格，以诗词意境立意。所创作的古典历史人物、现代日常生活场面等内容都给观赏者留下了难忘的创新记忆。人物动态神韵十足、栩栩如生，活灵活现，水泥浮雕风景画面意味无穷，看后令人大饱眼福。

2004年他创作的泥塑《毛主席望长城内外》曾获河南省第四届民博会精品奖。2006年创作的《祖国母亲》在北京举办的中国第二届民间工艺品博览会上受到国内外艺术界专家的赞扬和好评。并被邀参加2006年中国文联举办的《百花迎春》春节大联欢现场雕塑展演并获奖。2008年中国文学学会举办的诗词年会上，诗词作品得到了文学界中华诗词泰斗刘章老师的赞美。诗文和雕塑作品竞相在全国部分报刊选登，并入编《世界华人艺术精品典藏》和中国历史博物馆档案。2009年5月，薛明智被邀代表吴道子国画院赴马来西亚讲《中国民间传统雕塑艺术》课。2010年全国范围内中标敬塑安徽绩溪龙川胡宗宪家祠三尊金身，2011年6月又被安徽绩溪龙川胡宗宪尚书府程波董事长特邀，绘画修复还原了太极湖村明代大型影壁《松鹤延年、福禄百代》等，得到了有关专家的高度认可：“不愧是中原文化！”并被各界新闻媒体追踪采访。
